Homicide detectives have recovered surveillance video from inside the market where a man was stabbed yesterday. In one portion of the video, the suspect briefly walks into and out of frame just moments after the attack.

A man has died after being stabbed in an International District market early Sunday evening.
A witness called 911 reporting a stabbing had occurred in a market in the 50o block of S. Jackson St. just after 5 PM today. Officers arrived and found a white male, in his 50’s, unresponsive and immediately rendered aid. Seattle Fire medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
Police are investigating a disturbance which occurred inside the store between the suspect and the victim clerk, noting that there had been a separate disturbance at this same location the previous day.

The City along with the Chinatown/International District Task Force are working together in response to this and other complaints of crime in the area.
