Police Seek Leads On Masked Masturbator In University District

Police are hoping you can help identify a masked man caught on camera exposing himself outside a University District home.

Seattle police first received a report of the man’s lewd behavior on January 10th after a woman called 911 and said she had just seen the suspect masturbating outside the front door of her home near NE 52nd Street and 12th Avenue NE.

Officers searched the area, but were unable to find the suspect.

A little less than a month later, on February 7th, a surveillance camera outside the home captured the suspect, who covered himself head to toe–save for his hands and genitals–in dark clothing, a hood (which appears white on the night-vision camera) and toe shoes.

The residents of the home, who are students at the nearby University of Washington, say they’ve heard suspicious sounds outside their house on several occasions, and detectives believe the suspect may have gone to the home as many as four times since November 2015.

If you have any information about this case or recognize the suspect, please contact Seattle Police at (206) 684-5575.
