Detectives Seek Suspects In Armed Hold-Up at West Seattle Convenience Store

Security cameras at a West Seattle convenience store captured two masked, armed men robbing a clerk at gunpoint earlier this week. Now police are hoping someone out there recognizes the men in the footage.

Just before 3 AM Monday, the men entered the store in the 3200 block of Avalon Way SW and flashed a gun at the clerk, who was mopping inside the business. The suspects demanded cash and then stole several cartons of cigarettes before they fled.

Though both men were wearing red bandannas over their faces and had gloves on during the robbery, the clerk told police one suspect was about 5’6 with a slim build, and described the other man as 6’3 with a heavy build.

If you recognize the suspects in the video or have any other information about this case, please call the SPD Robbery Unit at 206 684-5535.

Detectives don’t yet know if this robbery is related to a similar one at another West Seattle convenience store on January 18th, but are investigating.
