A call about a group of people prowling cars and stealing license plates led officers to arrest a man and a woman early Thursday near Fremont.

Officers were dispatched to the 4300 block of 6th Avenue Northwest just before 7 AM to investigate after a neighbor called in to report three people possibly stealing from cars parked in the area.

When officers arrived they found three people standing by a stolen car with the hood up.  When officers ordered the three to the ground the 40-year-old woman and the 50-year-old man, but the 48-year-old man refused.

The uncooperative suspect backed away, yelled “[fudge] that!”, and ran.
