Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of a man late last night in the Central District.
On November 21st, at 11:23 pm, East Precinct officers responded to reports of a person down at 24th Avenue and East Spruce Street. Officers arrived and found Seattle Fire personnel performing CPR on a 45-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of SFD, the victim was declared deceased at the scene.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation. Crime Scene Investigators also responded and processed the scene. This remains an active and on-going investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Seattle Police.
