On 9/22/08 at 1:15 AM an extremely intoxicated patron of the Rose Garden Tavern took offense to the bouncer attempting to remove him from the establishment. The suspect had words with the bouncer for a few moments before pulling out a knife and stabbing the victim in the abdomen. The suspect was located and arrested a block south of the tavern. Fire treated the victim at the scene and transported him to HMC. Information at this time is that the injuries do not appear life threatening.
