Elderly woman struck by vehicle in West Seattle

On Monday, September 22 at approximately 12:47 PM., a 92 year-old woman was crossing California Avenue SW in a crosswalk when she was hit by a vehicle travelling southbound on that street.  The woman later died at the hospital.  The driver of the vehicle stopped immediately and cooperated fully with the investigators.  The Traffic Collision Investigation Squad (TCIS) responded and will handle the investigation.
