We just learned from our friends at Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound that the Text-a-Crime-Tip program has tallied its first success!
A tipster utilized this program on September 17th, texting in the whereabouts of a notorious auto thief and felony warrant suspect. Within minutes officers responded to the location in question. The subject was arrested and booked into King County Jail.
