Stabbing in High Point, suspect being sought

On October 17th at approximately 10:30 PM, officers responded to an apartment complex in the 6300 Block of 34th Avenue SW where a female had been stabbed.  Officers arrived and contacted the victim, who stated that the known male suspect was next door.  Officers conducted a thorough search of the complex, but it was determined that the suspect had fled prior to the police arriving.  The victim, a 42 year-old woman, had several cuts to her neck and arm, but they were not considered “life-threatening”.  She was taken to the hospital for treatment.  Officers conducted a lengthy search for the suspect, who is known to the victim, but have not yet located him.
