North Precinct reports that at approximately 3:50 AM on October 21st, a female victim came to the North Precinct to report she had been drinking with a male acquaintance inside his vehicle and when she attempted to get out he would not allow her to leave. He drove around to various locations, both physically and sexually assaulting her. After many hours, the victim escaped the suspect and made her way to the North Precinct. The suspect’s name and a general description of the vehicle were provided to the investigating officers. Approximately an hour later officers found the suspect vehicle with the suspect asleep inside of it. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. The SAU detectives will conduct the investigation.
