On October 28th at 11:24 A.M., Seattle Police officers responded to a call in the 7200 Block of 38th Avenue South where a fifty-one year old man was accidentally run over by his twenty-four year old son as they were working on their car in the parking lot behind their apartment. Seattle Fire Department medics also responded and began life-saving measures to save the man. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center where he later died. The Traffic Collision investigators responded to the scene and will handle the investigation. It appears that the victim was in front of the car when his son mistakenly put the car into drive instead of neutral.
