On November 26th at approximately 5:40 A.M., officers from the SouthWest Precinct were sent to a disturbance in the 6900 block of Delridge Way SW on a report of a male who was breaking lamps and yelling and kicking things in the hallway of an apartment building. The suspect then went outside and began banging on the ground floor windows. The suspect left the scene in his car before officers arrived, but officers did spot the suspect driving southbound on Delridge. The suspect was running red lights and the officers made the decision not to pursue. However, the suspect managed to crash his car at Holden and Delridge. Officers were able to arrest the 28 year-old suspect without incident. The southbound lane of Delridge was closed for a short time while the accident was being investigated, but all lanes are back open.
