On November 30th at approximately 9:38 a.m., North Precinct patrol officers responded to a disturbance at Tent City. A 17-year-old resident had been asked to leave the premises for violation of rules there. She was given the customary 1-hour time period to gather her things. The staff called police to stand by due to her hostility. While escorting her off the property, the suspect become hostile and assaulted officers. Once the suspect was placed in the patrol car, she began violently kicking at the door, swearing, banging her head against the security screen, spitting on the window and threatening officers. The suspect was booked into YSC for Investigation of Assault.
