On 12/2/08 at approximately 1:20 AM South Precinct Officers were dispatched to the 6000 block of Upland Terrace S. to investigate a car fire. The caller stated he heard an explosion, looked out his window, and observed an unknown vehicle engulfed in flames in the middle of the roadway. Seattle Fire Department along with the Arson/Bomb squad were both on scene. Preliminary investigation suggests the car was set on fire intentionally. At this time investigators have no suspect or motive information.
