Ballard Burglary Suspect Arrested

On December 31 at 3:51 p.m. multiple citizens called 911 to report seeing the suspect believed to be responsible for several occupied business burglaries and thefts that have occurred in the Ballard area over the past several days. Officers responded to the area and minutes later located and detained the adult male suspect near 20th Avenue NW and NW Market Street. When officers ran the suspect’s name over their police computers they discovered that the suspect was a wanted fugitive from Missouri. Additionally, the suspect was positively identified by one of the burglary victims.

The 46-year-old male suspect was arrested and booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Fugitive. Seattle Police Department Burglary Detectives continue to actively investigate the suspect’s Ballard-area crimes to determine whether additional charges are warranted.
