On February 18th at 10:54 a.m. a female driver (Driver 1) was traveling northbound on the Fremont Bridge when she crossed the double yellow lines into on-coming traffic. Driver 1 scraped a mini-van and then collided head-on into another van. All three drivers were treated at the scene. Driver 1 was immediately transported to Harborview Medical Center but died as a result of injuries she sustained in the collision. The other two drivers were treated at the scene and transported to local hospitals for follow-up treatment. Traffic Collision Investigation Squad Detectives responded to the scene and are actively investigating.
