On 3/27/09 at approximately 1:45 AM North Precinct Officers responded to a call involving 2 males who had been involved in a verbal disturbance inside a nightclub in the 4500 block of 8th Ave. NE. Security staff from the establishment removed the two. They continued their disagreement in the parking lot. While there one of the males retrieved a handgun and pointed it at the victim’s head. The suspect then pistol-whipped the victim. This action caused a round to be discharged from the firearm. It was difficult to determine the direction the round was fired but officers canvassed the area to search for potential victims. None were located. The suspect was immediately detained by North ACT and subsequently booked into King County Jail.
