On May 5 at approximately 6:39 p.m. officers responded to 911 calls of shots fired in the 9200 block of Rainier Avenue South. Investigation indicates that a group of young men and women were leaving a doughnut shop when the suspect began firing at them from across the street. Two teenage males in the group sustained gunshot wounds to the back. The victims were transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene and remains at large. The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties, 5’8″ to 5’10” tall and 150 lbs. Homicide and Gang Unit Detectives responded to the scene and continue to actively investigate.
