On May 20 at approximately 2:03 p.m. two female suspects entered the victim’s home through the front door. They confronted the 45-year-old male victim and demanded money. The victim started to push the suspects out of his house at which time both suspects pulled out handguns from their purses. A physical altercation ensued. As the victim was being pistol-whipped on the head by the suspects, one of the suspect’s guns discharged. Nobody was hit or injured by the fired round which is believed to have been stopped by the interior of the house. Both suspects fled the scene and remain at large. The victim was treated at the scene by SFD Medics and elected to seek further medical attention on his own. Officers patrolling the area observed a suspicious vehicle occupied by two males. The vehicle was stopped. Investigation indicated that at least one of the occupants was involved. That suspect, a 34-year-old male, was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary and Assault. The other subject, a 24-year-old male, was interviewed and released pending further investigation. Robbery and CSI Detectives responded to the scene and continue to actively investigate the incident.
