Street robbery downtown, two arrested

On May 23rd, at approximately 1:47 a.m., a bicyclist was at 3rd Avenue and Pike Street when he was verbally taunted, then physically assaulted by a group of white males and females.  The suspects took his bicycle and helmet. A passerby was able to retrive the bike and return it.  When the victim approached the suspects and asked for his helmet back, one of the suspects pulled out a stun gun and threatened to use it if the victim did not leave.  Officers stopped the group of suspects at 1st Avenue and Pine Street where the two main suspects were positively identified, although more were involved.  Officers recovered two stun guns.  One adult male and one juvenile male were arrested for Investigation of  Robbery.  The others were identified and released.
