Home invasion burglary in South Seattle

On June 19 at 6:27 p.m. officers responded to a 911 call of a home invasion burglary in the 6500 block of 33rd Avenue South. Preliminary investigation indicates that a 15-year-old male victim was home alone playing video games when the suspect entered the residence through a rear window. The suspect assaulted the boy, punching him on the head and face. The suspect then fled the scene in a 4-door red sedan driven by a second suspect. It is unknown at this time if any property was taken during the burglary. Both suspects remain at large.

SFD Medics responded to the scene, evaluated the victim and treated him for scratches on his face. He was not transported.

South Precinct Burglary Detectives will be handling the follow up investigation. Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identities or whereabouts of the suspects is asked to call 911 and refer to this incident.
