Men with a gun attempted to enter Holly Park house, 4 arrested

On July 5th, at approximately 3:10 a.m.,  South Precinct officers were dispatched to a residence in the 7000 Block of Holly Park Drive South.  The complainant stated that several males were standing on the porch of this house acting like they were going to break into it.  One of the men was armed with a handgun.  When the complainant called 911, the men got off the porch.  Officers arrived and saw a group of males near the house.  The officers commanded the suspects to the ground, but one of the males fled, throwing a handgun into the bushes.  A second suspect also fled from the scene.  Officers were able to chase down the first suspect who fled and take him into custody, while the second suspect who ran was caught approximately 1/2 a block away.  The gun was recovered during a K9 track. All the suspects were transported back to the precinct, and two ended up being booked into jail.  The other two were interviewed and released.  Both suspects are convicted felons,  so they were booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Felony Possesion of a Firearm.
