On 7/24/09, at 1:10 a.m., the two victims were in their apartment in the 5400 block of Meridian Av N. when three unknown suspects kicked the door down in.
One of the victims retrieved a handgun and confronted the three suspects, one of whom was also armed with a handgun. A standoff ensued and the victim fearing for his life dropped his firearm and complied with the suspects.
The second victim who was lying on the floor was kicked in the face by a suspect during the incident. The suspects were in and out quickly, taking two laptop computers and the victim’s handgun.
The suspects left out the back of the apartment and were last seen EB on 55th ave N. A K-9 track was attempted but was unsuccessful.
