SPD seeks assistance in identifying Murder suspect

On July 26th at approximately 6:30 a.m. an unknown male suspect robbed a convenience store located at 15th Avenue NW and NW 58th Street. During the robbery the suspect got into an altercation with the victim, a store employee. The suspect shot the 28-year-old male victim and fled the scene on foot. SFD Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office has informed us that the victim has died as a result of his injuries.

Seattle Police Homicide, Robbery and CSI Detectives responded to the scene and continue to actively investigate. The suspect is described as an unknown race male in his 20’s, 5’10” and skinny. The suspect was last scene wearing a dark snowboard cap with gold on it that read “Burton”, a dark-colored bandanna with stars on it, sunglasses, a dark-colored jacket with a multi-colored pattern, dark pants, black shoes with a white stripe, and carrying a black satchel bag.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone recognizing the suspect or who may have information about this individual should call 911 immediately and refer to this incident.
