On 8/18/09, at approximately 1210 a.m., officers responded to the 4800 block of S. Austin to investigate a shooting. The victim reported that he saw a silver SUV approach and the passenger got out and called for the victim to come to the car. The passenger was wearing a hoody & a mask. The victim turned and began running when he heard several shots fired, one of which struck him in the buttock. The victim went to an apartment in the 5100 block of S. Dawson where his girlfriend called 911. Injuries deemed non-life threatening by Seattle Fire Personnel. The victim was transported to an area hospital and treated for his injuries. The victim was marginally cooperative, no suspect information.
