Pipe attack suspect arrested

On August 25th, West Precinct patrol officers responded to a report of a pipe attack instigated by a victims refusal to provide money and/or cigarettes to a stranger in the 2200 block of Thorndyke Avenue W.

Information developed during the on-going investigation that led to the identity of a 35-year-old male suspect.  A robbery bulletin was distributed throughout the entire Seattle Police Department.

On October 8th at around 2 p.m., the suspect was located by West Precinct Burglary detectives and taken into custody.  He was transported to the Robbery Office for questioning.  The suspect was later booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.
