Pharmacy Robbery in North Seattle

On October 27th at 12:18 p.m. an adult male suspect wearing a covering that concealed his mouth & nose, wrap-around sunglasses, a gray ski cap, and a dark green camouflaged jacket, entered a pharmacy in the 1800 block of North 45th Street.  He presented a note to the pharmacy staff and was seen with a hand in his pocket implying a gun.  The pharmacy staff surrendered an unknown quantity of oxycotin in a bag.  The suspect fled the scene on foot.

Responding officers contacted a suspicious male subject loitering around a black SUV approximately three blocks away at North 43rd Street and Meridian Avenue North.  The subject was evasive, and upon further investigation was found to have an active Department of Corrections felony escape warrant for robbery.

Officers placed the suspect under arrest and transported him to the Robbery Office.  The black SUV was impounded and taken to the evidence garage.

After being interviewed by Robbery detectives, the 38-year-old suspect was booked into the King County Jail on the warrant.  This remains an active and on-going Robbery investigation.
