On November 28th at approximately 11:45 p.m. officers responded to a 911 call of a street robbery. Officers met with the male victim who said that he had been robbed about 15 minutes earlier. Investigation indicated that the victim was walking northbound on the west sidewalk of the 1500 block of Aurora Avenue North (the victim walks slowly and with a cane). All of a sudden he heard two voices and then they were right behind him on the sidewalk.
One male suspect placed what felt like a gun in the victim’s back while the other male suspect removed cash from the victim’s pockets. The suspects then fled the area on foot. The victim was not injured during the robbery. The suspects remain at large.
