On December 19th, shortly after 5:00 am, West Precinct patrol officers were working a burglary emphasis in the Pioneer Square area. While in the area of First Avenue South and South Main Street, officers heard a crashing sound, like breaking glass. Upon further investigation, the officers located a suspect breaking into a store in the 200 Block of First Avenue South. The glass window of the business had been shattered. Officers arrested the 54 year-0ld male and booked him into the King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary. West Precinct Burglary detectives were notified of the arrest and will be conducting the follow-up investigation.
