Man arrested for shooting pellet gun at cars, businesses on Aurora

On February 8th, at approximately 12:30 AM, officers from the North Precinct responded to a call of several people shooting what they believed was a rifle from the roof of a business in the 8900 Block of Aurora Avenue North.  Officers arrived and observed what appeared to be four individuals on the roof of the business with a pellet rifle shooting it toward Aurora.   The building was contained, and three of the suspects were taken into custody without incident.  The fourth suspect was arrested as he was attempting to run away.  The suspects were taken to the North Precinct.  At the precinct, one suspect claimed sole responsibilty for the firing of the pellet gun, indicating that he was shooting the gun at business signs across Aurora, and did not think he had struck any cars or people.   There were no reports of anyone claiming any injuries as a result of this incident.  The 26 year old man was booked into the King County Jail for Unlawful Use of Weapon, while the other three suspects were interviewed and released from the precinct.  The pellet gun was submitted into evidence.
