On February 19th at approximately 4:50 p.m. a male victim in his 40’s was confronted by a knife-wielding adult male suspect on a Metro Bus in the 100 block of Vine Street. The suspect robbed the victim of his cash, exited the bus and fled on foot. The victim called 911 on his cell phone and followed the suspect. Police dispatchers on the phone with the victim helped guide responding officers to the suspect’s location. Officers located and arrested the suspect. The victim was not injured.
Investigating officers recovered the knife used in the robbery. The victim’s money was also recovered. The 30-year-old male suspect was booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.
