Stabbing in North Seattle, suspect at large

On February 23rd at approximately 6:14 p.m. officers responded to a 911 report of two men fighting in a parking lot at North 40th Street and Stone Way North.  One male subject was armed with a crowbar and the other male subject was armed with a knife.  Officers arrived on scene and found an adult male victim in his 50’s who had sustained a stab wound to the back.  The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center by SFD medics with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The suspect was already gone upon the officers’ arrival.  The male suspect reportedly fled the scene in a white Mustang with a female front seat passenger.  The Mustang had at least two windows smashed out by the subject wielding the crowbar.  There is no suspect description available at this time.  Officers continue to actively investigate.
