On March 2nd, at approximately 12:50 AM, North Precinct officers responded to the 14300 Block of Stone Avenue North on a report of an assault and property damage. According to witnesses, the victim, a 41 year old male, was sitting in a parked car in front of a residence in that block when a car, possibly a gold Chevrolet Lumina pulled up with five white males inside. The victim was struck in the head during the attack. The victim was able to get out of the car and make his way to his friend’s place, where the friend called 911. The suspects were gone by the time officers arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. This is an on-going investigation.
