On April 17th, at approximately 3:30 AM, South Precinct officers responded to a residence in the 6400 Block of Shaffer Avenue South on a report of shots fired into the house. After checking the home to ensure that no one was injured, the officers interviewed the occupants. It appears that this incident may have been connected to an earlier disturbance that occurred about 1:30 AM at another location in South Seattle. This suspect(s) in the Shaffer incident is unknown and fled the area prior to the police arriving. The house was struck several times and officers recovered evidence at the scene. Again, there were no injuries.
