On 6/18/10 at approximately 7:00 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of 4th Ave. to a reported stabbing. The victim is the manager of an apartment building in the area. Leading up to the stabbing, the victim was trying to remove the suspect and several other people from unit #205. The suspect became upset and stabbed the victim in the upper arm.
There was a great witness on scene. She used her cell phone to call 911 as she kept an eye on the fleeing suspect. Officers were on scene very quickly and were able to locate and arrest the suspect without incident.
The suspect was later booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Assault. The victim was treated on scene by Seattle Fire Department. It is unknown if he was transported to the hospital.
