On June 30th shortly after 2:00 PM, two foot beat officers were in the 300 Block of Pine Street when they encountered a man for violating King County Metro’s “Rules of Conduct” in a bus shelter. This contact led to the recovery of a concealed .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun wrapped in a stocking. The man did not have a concealed weapons permit. He also was in possession of drugs. The 21 year old man was arrested and booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of VUCSA (drugs) with a request for charges on the weapons charge.
