On August 26th, shortly after 3:30 AM, Seattle Police officers responded to a 911 call of a “home invasion” type robbery in the 7900 Block of 4 Avenue Southwest. Officers arrived at the location and determined the following:
Sometime before 3:00 AM, an unknown Asian male knocked on the door of the residence. The homeowner, a woman in her 60’s, answered the door where she was met by the armed suspect. There may have been a total of three suspects. He forced the victim back into the house where he tied her up. A man in his 30’s and his 20 year old girlfriend were also staying in the house. They heard the noise and came out to the living room to investigate. They too were tied up by the suspects. None of the victims were injured. The suspects took a number of items, including handguns and rifles. The suspects then left the house, stealing the two cars that belonged to the victim. One is described as a grey, 2005 Toyota Camry, with Washington disabled plate, 92240DP and the other is a white, 1995 Ford Windstar van, Washington disable plate 65327DP. Robbery detectives responded to the location and are processing the scene and conducting interviews. Anyone with any information on this crime is asked to contact the Robbery Unit at (206) 684-5535.
