Shooting in South Seattle

On September 17th at approximately 2:53 a.m. officers responded to reports of shots fired at an apartment building in the 2500 block of 29th Avenue South.  Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim (in his late teens to early 20’s) who had sustained at least one gunshot wound to the face.  The victim was inside his ground-floor apartment and appears to have been shot through an open window by suspects who were standing outside.

SFD medics responded to the scene and subsequently transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.  There were two females in another room of the apartment at the time of the shooting who were not injured.

The two suspects remain at large.  They are both described as Asian males, 5’7″ to 5’8″, late teens to early 20’s wearing dark upper-body clothing and blue jeans.  They fled the scene in a white sedan with a low back end.

Homicide/Assault detectives are responding to the scene to assume control of this active and on-going investigation.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identities or whereabouts of the shooters is asked to call 911 or Seattle Police and refer to this incident.
