On November 17th, at approximately 9;10 AM, Seattle Police and Seattle Fire Department responded to a call of a vehicle/pedestrian collision in the intersection of 7th Avenue and Cherry Street. The pedestrian, believed to be a female, was killed when she was struck by a dump truck. Detectives from the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad (TCIS) have responded to the scene and are conducting their investigation. This information is preliminary, and subject to change.
