Four people arrested after shots fired near South Seattle nightclub

On December 13th, at approximately 12:20 AM, South Precinct officers responded to the 2900 Block of 1st Avenue South on reports of shots fired. Officers arrived and were told by club security that the possible suspects had fled westbound into the parking lot and got into a dark colored SUV. Responding officers were able to stop that vehicle at Utah and South Forest. There were four people subsequently arrested from that SUV. In addition, there were two stolen firearms recovered and a large amount of cocaine and marijuana. A number of shell casings were recovered from the alley just west of the nightclub. At approximately 1:05 AM, as one officer was waiting for the suspect vehicle to be impounded, he heard at least a dozen additional shots fired from just north of the club and in the alley behind. Multiple officers responded to the scene, but no suspects were located. There were also no injuries reported. There was, however, damage to the club’s front door. Shell casings were recovered from the alley. Seattle Fire Department treated one female inside the club for a panic attack. The suspects from the original call, ages 21, 21, 22, and 23 were later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Possession of Stolen Property and VUCSA.
