On 2/19/11, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the victim was walking home when a Red Chevrolet Blazer appeared to be parking at 16th Ave NE and NE 52nd. One suspect was outside the vehicle and appeared to be waiting for the others to exit the vehicle. The suspect surprised the victim by striking him on the head and attempted to wrestle the victim’s back pack away.
The other suspect’s joined the robbery. The suspect’s beat the victim’s face and head. The victim sustained facial injuries and was checked at the scene by Seattle Fire, but declined further medical attention.
The suspects fled in the vehicle following the robbery and were last seen westbound on NE 55th street. An extensive area check did not locate the suspect’s or suspect vehicle.
The victim stated the suspects involved were 3 black male adults.
