Update to robbery, suspects arrested

Robbery detectives working on a robbery case from February 4th  learned during their investigation that several other agencies were working on other cases involving one of the suspects.  On February 18th, at approximately 11:00 PM, a multi agency operation involving Seattle Police, King County Sheriff’s Department, ATF and the Violent Gang Task Force was conducted in South Seattle.  Three suspects were taken into custody and a handgun was located in the bushes, after being tossed by one of the suspects.  After their arrests, the suspects were interviewed by Robbery detectives.  The three adult  suspects were later booked into the King County Jail on a Federal Detainer for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, and one of the suspects had an additional charge of Investigation of Robbery.  The Robbery Unit will follow up with the state charges, while the VGTF and ATF will assume responsiblity for the federal charges.
