On March 2nd, at approximately 12:45 AM, North Precinct officers responded to the 8500 Block of Interlake Avenue North on reports of an SUV striking several parked cars along that street. Officers arrived and located six parked cars along Interlake that had been struck, some with extensive damage. Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle a short distance away where they contacted the driver. He was placed under arrest and processed for Driving under the Influence. Officers contacted some of the car owners at the scene. Business cards with the case number were left on the windows of those cars whose owners were not contacted.
