Disturbance with injuries in North Seattle, one arrested

On March 3rd at approximately 11:27 a.m. officers responded to an unknown disturbance with reported injuries at a residence in the 9600 block of Roosevelt Way NE.  This disturbance was initially reported to have a female involved and possibly a subject with an axe wound.  Investigation later determined that there was no female involved in the disturbance nor was there any evidence that an axe was used as a weapon.  Several subjects fled the residence in question prior to the arrival of officers and those subjects remain at large.

Officers arrived on scene and contacted two adult male subjects in their 20’s, who turned out to be brothers.  Both subjects had visible head injuries.  SFD medics responded and subsequently transported both men to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.

One subject sustained possible life-threatening injuries from an unknown blunt object.  The other subject sustained a non-life-threatening injury.  He was treated and released to the custody of Department of Corrections (DOC) officers, who subsequently booked him into the King County Jail for parole violations.

Both involved subjects were uncooperative with officers as the investigating officers tried to determine what had transpired.
