On April 14 at around 7:17 a.m., North Precinct patrol officers responded to a report of a 47-year-old man found dead behind a dumpster in the 2800 block of NW Market Street. There was no obvious sign of trauma to the victim. Homicide and Crime Scene Investigation detectives responded to the scene to investigate and search for evidence out of an abundance of caution. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office responded and took custody of the body. They will conduct their own separate investigation to determine the cause of death.
