On 5/18/11, at approximately 9:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting at Rainier and S Cloverdale. Officers arrived within minutes of the call and found the victim face down on S. Cloverdale west of Rainier Av S. There were 3 females who witnessed some of the incident.
Seattle Fire Department responded and treated the victim on scene. He was later transported to Harborview Medical Center via Medic Unit. The victim could only say that he did not see who shot him and that he was crossing the street when he was hit. The witnesses stated that they saw a group of males in a disturbance and then the shots were fired. Gang Unit Detectives responded and processed the scene. The 25-year-old victim was reported as being in serious condition.
