Bank Robbery in Magnolia

On May 28th at approximately 12:22 p.m. officers responded to a bank robbery in the 2400 block of 34th Avenue West.  Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect entered the bank, passed a note to the teller demanding money and implied that he was armed.  The suspect fled the scene on foot with an unknown amount of cash and remains at large. 

Responding officers conducted an area search for the suspect but were unable to locate him.  Nobody was injured during the course of the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, 40 to 45 years of age, 5’9″ tall, heavyset with long dreadlocks, wearing a black doo-rag, a gray Corona beer sweatshirt, blue jeans and dirty white shoes.    

Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call 911 or Seattle Police immediately and refer to this incident.
