Man accidently shoots himself in the arm

On June 5th at approximately 4:48 a.m. officers responded to the 1300 block of South Alaska Street to investigate a man reportedly shot in the arm.  Preliminary investigation indicates that the male victim in his 20’s accidently shot himself in the arm while handling a handgun.  SFD medics responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital.
