On 6/9/11, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded to N. 35th St and Densmore Ave N. to a collision involving a SPD motors officer. Seattle Fire responded and transported the officer to Harborview Medical Center with very minor injuries. Driver 1, a 23-year-old female was not injured. According to witnesses, vehicle 1 was traveling N/B on Densmore N. and the officer was traveling E/B on N. 35th. Driver 1 stopped at a stop sign and preceded into the intersection when she collided into the front tire of the officer’s motorcycle.
Traffic Collision investigators responded and processed the scene. Unknown at this time what driver 1 will be cited for.
