On June 30th at approximately 1:21 p.m. the fire department responded to an apartment fire in the 14000 block of 12th Avenue NE. After putting out the fire, Seattle Police patrol officers and Arson Bomb Squad detectives responded to the scene at the request of SFD personnel when it was determined that the cause of the fire was suspicious. It has since been ruled an arson.
Nobody was located inside the apartment and there were no injuries as a result of the blaze. The suspect(s) remain at large.
This remains an active and on-going Seattle Police Arson Bomb Squad investigation.
